Pinterest has become the go-to for all new bloggers. Whether you’re using Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook or any other social media platform, you’re going to love this get followers hack with a simple plugin that you can try for risk-free.

When you first start a blog, it’s so exciting. After all the possibilities of earning income from a blog are huge. However, what most people don’t realize is that gaining traffic to a blog can be challenging.
Most new bloggers (myself included) struggle with getting traffic to their blog. It’s so easy to spend countless hours on our blogs writing content or creating pins only to realize that we’re not gaining any traction.
While I don’t think that you need to focus completely on growing your followers. In fact, many people will say that the number of followers you have doesn’t really matter.
If you’ve been using Pinterest for a while, then you know they recently went through an update. Here’s a great Facebook Live video that will walk you through on what to do to improve your efforts on the social media platform.
The cool this social media account is that you don’t need thousands of followers to benefit from it. Unlike other social media platforms like Instagram. (at least that’s what I’ve read, I don’t personally use it)
However, I’ve personally found that by increasing my Pinterest followers, I’ve managed to get accepted into better Group Boards. This alone has been worth the effort.
The best part is that it won’t take a lot of extra effort. I know you’re busy and you have tons of blogging tasks that you do on a regular basis to grow your blog.
No one wants to be told that they need to spend more time creating pins or improving Pinterest descriptions for all their pins. Although those things will definitely help you get more traffic.

First things first, before you start trying to grow your account and followers. You want to make sure that you have enough of your own content to share.
One of the biggest mistakes I made when I started using the platform, is that I didn’t have enough of my own content. I ended up having to share other people’s content more than my own.
I think it’s important to share other people’s content, but you want to be sharing more of your own posts. After all, you’re trying to grow your account.
If you don’t have a lot of your own posts, then you can create 3-5 pins for every blog post. This will give you enough pins to start sharing your own content even if your blog is brand new.
Are Pinterest Followers Important?
As I mentioned above, I don’t think followers are as important as they used to be. I honestly couldn’t tell you what the platform was like as I just started using it in 2016.
When I did start using it, I had no clue what I was doing. I spent so much time relying on automated schedulers and not really taking the time to learn the platform.
For the past 3-4 months, I’ve been focusing on really deep diving and learning how to use the platform. So many people say that it’s so easy to get traffic from.
But if you’ve read my blog traffic updates, you know that it’s been a huge learning curve for me.
It took me forever to get 500 followers. At the time of this writing, I now have over 1,000 followers and the number just continues to grow.
Not to mention, I had no clue what Pinterest SEO was until I purchased this course.
You’re probably wondering what I did to grow my following? Well, I owe it all to this plugin and I am going to show you how to set it up and let it do everything for you.
Yup, once the WordPress plugin is set up, you don’t have to do anything extra. You just go about your daily blogging tasks and keep creating pins and eventually, you’ll start to see more followers.
