It’s not about getting wealthy (although you can if you want) It’s about creating the lifestyle you desire and making enough to retire with dignity.

According to everyone I know, I’m stubborn. I keep pursuing the entrepreneurial dream even after all my failures. I’ve had tons of failure including filing bankruptcy several years ago. I didn’t let this stop me, in fact, that experience has motivated me to turn to the Internet to earn income.
I’m nearing my mid-forties and to tell you the truth, I have NOT saved enough for retirement. I spent all my savings pursuing the entrepreneurial dream. I know that I’m not the only one who doesn’t have enough saved for my golden years, according to statics, more than 55% of Americans don’t have enough saved for retirement.
I’ve read tons of financial books, wrote blog posts, started investing in stocks, written books, etc. You name it, I’ve probably done it.
Yeah, I know that’s crazy. My motto is you only live once, why do something that you hate?
That’s why I started this blog. My hope is to share valuable tips with you so you can start making money online. All you need is a computer and reliable WIFI to get started.
This blog shares informational posts as well as my personal journey to making money online, how I spend my blog income and anything else that I’ve learned from listening to books, podcasts and watching videos that I’m using to increase my finances.
My goal is to share the good, bad and the ugly with you. In hope that you learn through my mistakes and successes, so you too can reach your financial goals.
A Little Bit More About Me
On a personal note, I am a regular person just like you. Hard work has been ingrained in me and it’s who I am. I guess you could say I acquired these traits in while I was in the military? (who knows)
I’m the only one in my family that has followed the entrepreneur route. Everyone says I am crazy and I should just get a regular 9-5 job to pay the bills.
I’ve had several ups and downs in life before I became a full-time WordPress freelancer.
Some of my closest friends would say that I am obsessive. When I start something, I seem to get tunnel vision and continue towards my goals. (I am not sure if that is a good thing)
When I’m not sitting in front of my Mac ( I switched to a Mac about a month ago) you can usually find me at the gym. Or outside running on the local track.
Running helps me clear my thoughts. I used to be a lot better at it when I was younger, but I still enjoy it. NOT that I’m that old 🙂
Not only that but when I sit in front of the computer for long periods of time, my neck and back start to hurt. Guess that’s one of the downsides of doing what I love.
Staying in shape is extremely important to me. I always pay attention to the food I eat and try to exercise every day.
My weakness is hamburgers and carrot cake.
I haven’t had a typical 9-5 job in over 10 years. I have failed at a lot of online ventures. (why am I telling you this?)
Because I am being open and honest and don’t want you to think that I have made money online from the get-go. I have a few blogs online that make me some monthly residual income…but nothing that will help me retire comfortably.
At the time of this writing, this blog has made some money, but not nearly as much as I’d like it to be making.
Let’s see, what else can I tell you? Oh, I have a 16-year-old pug. She’s old and deaf, but she still has the kick in her when it’s morning time and it’s time to eat. I think eating and sleeping are her favorite things to do.
I’m cold natured, I always seem to be cold. My favorite season is Summertime. Maybe it’s because I love wearing shorts and I don’t have to worry about being cold.
A Much Needed Vacation
It has been over 6 years since I’ve been on a real vacation. My partner and her parents spent 9 days in Disney World.
The time off was great, we really enjoyed it. The weather was great…so I thought why not share some pics with you.
