As soon as you set up your blog on the platform of your choice, I always recommend a self-hosted WordPress blog. You’ll want to sit down and start writing content after finding low competition keywords.
Create a routine of when you’ll be writing new content and write 2-3 blog posts per week. Make the content as helpful as possible for your target audience.
Promotion
As a new blogger, you’ll need to work hard on promoting your content. It takes time for Google to start ranking your traffic so you can start getting organic traffic.
Don’t sit back and wait on Google to send you traffic, it’s going to take some time. Instead, start a Pinterest business account and start learning everything that you can about promoting your content with Pinterest, here’s an article to help you get started.
