Why Comapanies Pay for Leads?
I know that it’s hard to believe that it’s possible to get paid for referral signups. If you’re new to affiliate marketing, you might even think it’s a scam.
Well, it’s NOT there are tons of companies that will pay you to drive leads to them. Some of the most lucrative opportunities are the mortgage lead affiliate programs.
These companies realize that paying for a lead can bring them a customer that can make them more money than they paid to acquire the lead.
If you ask me, it’s a smart marketing method. These companies pay you a small one-time fee to send them a lead.
Once that lead joins, they have the opportunity to turn that lead into a loyal customer that buys over and over.
If you do the math, you can see why companies offer pay per lead programs to affiliates.
Can You Make Money With Free SignUp Affiliate Companies?
Based on my personal experience, it is totally possible to earn money with these programs. I don’t recommend relying 100% on the referral program, especially if you get paid on a 2nd tier program.
A 2nd tier program is different than a referral program. With a 2nd tier program, you’ll only earn commissions when your referral makes sales.
This can be a great way to earn commissions. But the truth is that most new affiliates won’t make sales right away.
In fact, most people will quit before they make a sale because they don’t understand how to do affiliate marketing.
I’m not saying that you shouldn’t promote 2nd tier affiliate programs. Just don’t expect to make big bucks if you’re relying on affiliates under you to earn you commissions.
Final Take Away
There are literally tons of different ways to earn money as an affiliate. I personally love the lead affiliate networks because they are easier to profit from when you don’t have to sell anything.
More people are willing to submit their email, complete a survey, or sign up for free than they are to pull out their wallet.
Don’t overlook joining referral programs to monetize your blog/website. You’ll be surprised at how easy it can be add some extra income without a lot of effort.
